Ah, the bikini. First introduced 60 years ago to a very critical audience, this exceptionally small piece of swimwear in now a standard in the world of fashion design. But as we move into 2006, we now have doctors telling us to stay covered up in the sun to reduce our UV exposure, rendering our favourite bathing suit a health hazard.

Well, enter Solestrom, who has created a new, $190 model that listens to those doctors’ advice to make sure you don’t get too crispy while enjoying the sun. So long as they don’t come up with a speedo model to compliment it, I’m happy.
